Heat oil in a frying pan, add onions and cook until brown, then place in a pot or large sauce pan.

Heat more oil in the frying pan and add meat and carrots and brown them lightly, then remove the contents to the pot with the onions in (1).

Pour water into the sauce pan, and simmer for about 20 minutes on a low to medium heat while skimming the top occasionally.

Remove from heat and add Madras Curry Shitsujun, then simmer again for another 10 minutes over low heat before serving.

180g
thinly sliced beef (or pork) 300g
large onion(finely sliced) 2
medium carrot (diced into bite sized pieces) 1
water 750ml
oil for frying  
preferred amount of rice
